Match Amounts Minimum $25, Maximum $25,000, Match Ratio .50:1. The Principal Foundation will match donations to eligible organizations at a 50% rate. The matching gift will go to the organization the employee donates to. Each employee has up to $25,000 per year under this program. Board Membership Match: This is specifically for employees who serve on a nonprofit board of directors. The Principal Foundation will match donations to eligible organizations at a 100% rate to the organization donated to. Each employee has up to $3,000 per year under this program. Employees should submit their matching gift requests electronically at https://principal.benevity.org/user/login. Every one volunteer hour logged in Benevity Spark earns the employee $25 which they can give to any eligible nonprofit of their choice, up to $1,000 per year. A group of employees of 5 or more with 3 or more full time employees may organize an opportunity to volunteer together. The organization is then eligible for $500 after the opportunity is complete. The more employees who participate the higher the contribution to the nonprofit.
