New York Life offers two types of volunteer grant programs for employees and retirees: Individual Grants New York Life provides a $500 volunteer grant to employees and agents who have volunteered at least 30 hours with one eligible charity or $1,000 for volunteering 60 hours or more. Individuals must log into New York Life’s online system to log their hours and submit the volunteer request form. Team Grants: When groups of NYL employees and agents volunteer collectively for over 40 hours total, New York Life provides volunteer grants of between $500-$10,000.
