Match Amounts Minimum $25, Maximum $10,000, Match Ratio 1:1. Employees should submit their matching gift requests electronically at https://marathonpetroleum.yourcause.com/. Once an employee volunteers for at least 24 hours in a year, he or she can request a volunteer grant of $500 for the organization. Employees can record their volunteer time in increments in the Portal, and after Community Affairs’ monthly review of employees who have reached the 24-hour minimum, should receive notification that their service was eligible and that their CauseCard is ready for redemption. If an employee is married, the employee and spouse can combine their volunteer hours with a single organization to reach the 24 hour threshold.
