See how Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has provided more than one million medical consultations to Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. After the start of a campaign of targeted violence against Rohingya Muslims on August 25, 2017, more than 700,000 people fled Myanmar and joined hundreds of thousands other Rohingya refugees already in Bangladesh. In response to the massive number of new arrivals, MSF scaled up existing operations in Cox’s Bazar district to provide much needed medical and mental health care. Now, after fighting disease outbreaks, providing reproductive health care, treatment for sexual violence, mental health services, and more, MSF has surpassed one million medical consultations in the camps.
