- In 2022, our client developed and implemented an innovative revenue source to fund the expansion of their Employee Assistance Fund to cover instances of personal hardship and crises extending in some cases hotelwide.
- In 2023, our client requested support to administer their employee-centered grant program (originally launched in 2019). Since that time, the client has distributed grants to over 150 nonprofits and community-based organizations that align with their funding priorities of Environmental Sustainability, Career Development, and Community Resilience.

- Consulted with client and assisted in establishing new governance for expanding their program beyond disaster assistance to supporting team members experiencing personal hardship and crises. Our team also modified the application portal to maintain an easy user experience for applicants.
- Created additional hotel hardship assistance, which covers expenses made by client's properties to procure wide-scale basic items to support employees impacted by a disaster or major crisis.
- Launched and maintained a donation platform for disaster fundraising campaigns and special solicitations.
- Developed and continue to host a separate application portal to fully support client’s global grant program.
Results
- Sustained 12-year partnership resulting in $5.5 million distributed to support over 12,000 employees facing disaster, crisis, or personal hardship, including more than $250,000 provided to 3,645 team members through hotel hardship assistance.
- Empowered client’s team members to support their co-workers and communities worldwide affected by disasters and personal crises, raising more than $750,000 in employee donations since 2021.
- Distributed $975,000 in the past three years to 11 domestic and international grantees.
- Awarded over $200,000 in action grants to 201 organizations both international and domestic.
