Stephanie Scholz serves as the Vice President of Human Resources. An over 20-year human resources veteran, Scholz joined Global Impact in 2008. In her role, she directs HR strategy, oversees employee benefit programs, supervises the performance management process and collaborates with executives daily on organizational needs. Scholz also ensures employee engagement, shepherds Global Impact’s organizational culture and oversees the Center for Growing Global Philanthropy.
Before joining Global Impact, Scholz served as Human Resources Director for Virilion, Inc. and Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. She also held the position of Human Resources Director at the National Association of College and University Business Officers.
Scholz has experience in all facets of HR, and really enjoys coaching, employee relations, recruitment and training. Over the past several years at Global Impact, she has designed a new performance management system, revamped the recruiting process and managed all aspects of HR for Global Impact.
Scholz received her certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources in December of 2002 and recently obtained the Senior Certified Professional accreditation from the Society of Human Resource Management. Scholz has a passion for HR and is excited to be a part of Global Impact’s vision and mission.
After growing up in northern Virginia, Scholz graduated from the University of Virginia. She eventually settled back in her hometown where she lives with her husband and daughter.
