When Aaron was just two years old, he suffered the unthinkable. He was sexually abused and the abuse was repeatedly livestreamed on the internet to a paying audience – a deeply traumatizing experience for anyone, but especially for a child. IJM was able to play a pivotal role in the investigation of Aaron’s a case and the rescue operation that finally freed him. Once safely away from the perpetrator, Aaron was brought to an assessment center where we worked with our expert partners to evaluate his condition and give him ongoing trauma therapy. Aaron has shown us all how resilient children can be.
