Folks, we’re declassifying this year’s mission briefing. For nearly 70 years, our covert and overt operations at Global Impact have been focused on executing our most critical assignment: uniting partners to inspire greater giving.

2025’s campaign status? Mission launched and accepted.

At our recent Mission Impact: Igniting Employee Giving event, fellow campaign coordinators across public and private sectors came together to learn tools, strategies, and insider intel on how to ignite generosity in the workplace.

Here’s a recap for campaign agents, HR leaders, CSR directors, and basically any team members looking for fresh ways to connect their workforce to purpose and strengthen company or office culture through giving. Will you join us and choose to accept this mission?

Mission Tools for Impact

Microevents: We recommend hosting quick, high-impact events tied to a goal, cause, or observance day (World Food Day, Giving Tuesday, etc.) that require little time but deliver outsized engagement.

Need support? We have two options tailored to your workplace needs.

Live Action: Tap into five live events focused on global cause awareness days airing during the peak campaign season. All you need to do is share the registration link! These Take 20 events provide bite-sized engagement that connects employees to causes that resonate with a wide range of passions and interests.

Share the registration links with your teams and coordinators now — see you there! All events air live at noon ET.

Private Mission: Host your own Take 20 event — anywhere, anytime! We know that for some of you agents, being able to customize and tailor these events to your workplace and calendar is important so we have tools to help you too!

Download our Take 20 toolkits, which include an inspiring event recording featuring leading international charities, plus easy activities to keep employees engaged. Host a viewing party to spotlight a cause awareness day or bring fresh energy to your campaign.

AI Campaign Support: One of Global Impact’s secret agents shared his tips to help you deploy AI to draft communications, plan campaigns, and brainstorm ideas. When used correctly, AI helps save time and spark creativity. It’s not intended to replace you, but to enhance your efforts and output.

Pro tips:

  • Be specific with prompts and ask for refinements.
  • Use AI to experiment and brainstorm.
  • AI assists, but human oversight ensures authenticity and accuracy.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Finally, we encourage you to partner with ERGs to tap into natural communities of giving. Aligning philanthropy with ERG activities creates authenticity and reach. Note: If you don’t have ERGs at your workplace, consider tapping into affinity groups or listening to learn about some of the special interests of your teams.

Quick campaign ideas:

  • Micro-volunteer opportunities
  • Charity spotlights
  • Disaster relief efforts
  • Kindness challenges

Small acts of giving can have big ripple effects across teams and communities.

Why join the mission?
Giving doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful. Small actions — whether 20 minutes of your time or spotlighting a favorite charity — add up to real impact. And doing it as a team makes it fun.
