Last month, leaders, changemakers, and partners from across sectors convened in New York to share ideas, celebrate progress, and explore opportunities for collaboration. For the team at Global Impact Ventures — including Global Impact and Geneva Global — UNGA Week was a meaningful time to connect with colleagues, partners, and peers.
One of the week’s highlights was our Global Impact Ventures Happy Hour, focused on the theme, “Connecting the Dots.” Attendees came together in an informal setting to exchange ideas and strengthen relationships. In remarks to attendees, Global Impact Ventures President and CEO Scott Jackson reflected on the event as a chance to bring partners and peers together to deepen connections and spark new collaborations.
Events like this highlight the importance of creating opportunities to build connections and transform ideas into action.
“This was really my first year intentionally engaging in the events of the week, and I felt like my conversations were interesting, meaningful, and connected to the actual realities and challenges of the day.”
– Anya Tudisco, Senior Associate, Geneva Global
Team members also participated in panels, roundtables, and other networking sessions, engaging in thoughtful dialogue and supporting partners throughout the week.
“Attending these events felt especially meaningful this year. It was the right place to connect with people, explore opportunities for collaboration, and be part of important conversations.”
– Matt Gembecki, Senior Director, Global Impact
We leave UNGA week energized, with new connections, fresh ideas, and a renewed commitment to carrying these insights forward in the months ahead.
