Tshering Sherpa, a 73 year-old man from the remote village was blind from cataracts for two years. His son was able to carry Tshering to a cataract surgery outreach conducted by a medical team from the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology and sponsored by HCP Cure Blindness in September 2021.
