To improve health outcomes for patients and communities, Americares increases accessibility, availability, affordability and acceptability of medicine and supplies for partner health providers. Together with Zipline, we’re delivering critically needed medicines and supplies in Ghana. We are helping to reduce the delivery time for critically needed medicines from hours or even days to under an hour in many situations. Drone delivery has also reduced the number of people who must come into direct contact with others to deliver medicines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
