Obstetric fistula is a childbirth injury that destroys a woman’s life.

Meet Yunis. At the age of 19, she developed obstetric fistula, and suffered for 2 years. When a woman’s labor is obstructed and she cannot access emergency care such as a C-section, a fistula can develop. It leaves a woman incontinent and too often shunned by her community.

At least one million women like Yunis in Africa and Asia suffer needlessly from untreated fistula. Listen to her story, and click the links below to learn more.
