Join us in welcoming Melanie Holden to Global Impact’s campaign engagement team! Melanie began making a global impact in 2017 supporting the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) through a government contract led by Tribal Tech and Global Impact. Providing strategic planning and management, Melanie led her CFC zone, the Mississippi Delta/Gulf Coastal Plains, to significant growth in 2021 with a total of $1.2 million in revenue and a 72% increase in retiree giving. In addition to her role with the CFC, Melanie has been working with Global Impact’s finance team mastering the intricacies of CFC and campaign financial management and distributions. Now armed with her campaign implementation knowledge through the CFC and campaign finance experience, Melanie has stepped into her new role as director of campaign strategy. We are excited to have her expertise on the team and look forward to the new energy, creativity and experience she will bring to our campaign and charity partners this workplace giving season. Here’s a little bit more about Melanie:
Q: What does your new portfolio of work include?
A: True to my title and our mission at Global Impact, my role is to lead our overall campaign strategy with a specific focus on increasing partner value and inspiring greater giving. I’m also responsible for overseeing various aspects of our annual campaign plan including event and volunteer management, campaign marketing and pledge processing.
Q: What are you most excited about in your new role?
A: I am most excited about the amazing people I get to work with each day starting with our Global Impact team, expanding to all our wonderful Charity Alliance members, corporate partners, campaign organizers and generous donors. Our work is unique, challenging, rewarding and exciting – all at the same time!
Q: What global cause are you most passionate about?
A: I am most passionate about health and wellness – I desire to see the essential needs of humans met so that all people, especially children and families, have the opportunity to thrive physically, mentally and spiritually.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
A: Outside of work I love hanging with my family and friends – whether we’re staying in playing games and watching movies, to traveling together to fun places, or enjoying great food.
