On February 11, join us and Omatic for From Scarcity to Strategy: Breaking the Capacity Trap in Nonprofit Fundraising, a webinar about the capacity crisis facing charities today.

The ongoing bombardment of the Gaza Strip has created a dire water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) crisis for children and their families. About two-thirds of water and sanitation facilities have been damaged or destroyed in the bombardment. UNICEF is working with partners to provide fuel for wells and desalination plants, producing water for drinking and domestic needs. UNICEF also establishes new water points in shelters, repairs sewage pumping stations and installs septic tanks to control sewage overflow. “For the first time in six months, I used a private bathroom with soap available, and I was able to take a shower,” said Wafa, mother of 7-year-old Rozina. “This made me cry because of the difficult situations I went through.”
