Cindy Willmann serves as the Vice President of Operations and Special Initiatives. Willmann joined Global Impact in 2012 and currently oversees the organization’s technology team, Board engagement and special initiatives. In her time at Global Impact, Willmann has led numerous projects including the office move, SharePoint implementation, and many process improvement initiatives and other projects.
Before joining Global Impact, Willmann worked for Deltek, a software company based in the Washington metro area, in a variety of capacities including consulting, project management, software development and process improvement. Willmann started her career in human resources with a government contractor outside of Boston and has lived in northern Virginia since 1999.
Willmann is a certified Project Management Professional and completed an executive Master of Business Administration program at Virginia Tech in 2014. She holds an undergraduate degree in management from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Willmann is passionate about turning strategy into reality and finding ways for technology to increase efficiency in business.
In her spare time, Willmann serves with her local church in Arlington, Virginia and has a passion for causes such as breast cancer awareness and animal rescue. After visiting Kenya in 2006 and 2011, she developed a love for the Kenyans and supports David’s Hope, a nonprofit that serves vulnerable people in the mountains of Kenya.
