Guatemala Volcano Relief
On Sunday, June 3, Fuego volcano in Guatemala erupted without warning, sending a dangerous and fast-moving mix of hot ash, rock and gases rushing down the sides of the volcano. Reaching speeds of up to 435 MPH the flow buried roads and nearby communities, killing dozens. A second eruption occurred the following Tuesday, pushing the death toll to more than 100 with hundreds of people still missing.
Our charity partners are on the ground providing supplies including food, medicine, water, solar lanterns, safety equipment, hygiene kits and more. Psychosocial support is also being provided and child-friendly spaces are available.
Please donate to Global Impact’s Guatemala Volcano Relief Fund to provide much-needed funding for these relief efforts.
