Global Impact Employees to Join Red Nose Day FUN-raising with “Spirit Week” and “Red Nose Onesie” Challenge

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 18, 2016 – Global Impact’s Red Nose Day Spirit Week kicks off this Friday, launching five days of themed activities in the workplace designed to spread the joy of the Red Nose Day movement and ultimately raise money to help lift children and young people out of poverty in the United States and around the world. Global Impact, whose mission is to build partnerships and resources for the world’s most vulnerable people, supports Red Nose Day – a global movement and live TV special taking place Thursday, May 26 on NBC – which unites celebrities, comedy and the public to have fun and make a difference for kids.
For five days, Global Impact staff will get seriously silly as they dress up and get funny for money. Employees are encouraged to donate and participate in each day’s theme, which include Pajama Day, Cause Awareness Day, Backwards Day, Decade Day, and Crazy Hair Day, and to engage friends and family to do the same.

Next week, to top off Global Impact’s Spirit Week, executives will lead with laughter again. Jackson and Global Impact Vice President Ann Canela have pledged to wear Red Nose Onesies in front of the White House if they once again meet their fundraising goal.
