Every year, N’Djamena (capital of Chad) faces a significant peak of malnutrition cases. The challenge was exacerbated in the context of COVID-19. Nevertheless, the ALIMA teams managed to admit and care for severely malnourished children in the Therapeutic Nutritional Unit, while respecting health and safety guidelines.
