Director: Marketing and Communications

As the Director of Marketing and Communications, you’re primarily responsible for expanding brand awareness, generating new client opportunities and ultimately growth in revenue for Geneva Global, a B-Corporation serving individuals and family philanthropies, foundations and donor collaboratives. The position oversees the day-to-day operations of Geneva Global’s digital channels, content and branding. This position will also lead public relations efforts for the Global Impact Social Welfare Fund, a 501c4 supporting philanthropic funding for social impact.

Responsibilites

  • Ability to develop and implement strategic organizational communications plans to ensure a consistent and effective outreach to our various market segments throughout the year.
  • Attention to detail in editing, proofreading and improvement of publications, articles and posts.
  • Strategic and consistent branding of messaging across all channels, including website, social media and sales materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment; able to manage multiple projects and tasks on deadlines with focus on results.

Qualifications

Qualifying for this role means you have a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, philanthropic studies or related field and 7-10 years of experience in marketing and communications. You have experience working with and developing a deep understanding of foundations, high net-worth donors and corporate philanthropy. You have strong written and verbal communication skills. You can effectively supervise and manage team members across lines of business to help build an inclusive team environment. Knowledge of WordPress, MailChimp, Adobe Creative Suite and Salesforce is a plus.

Working at Global Impact

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for more than one year. Visa sponsorship is not available. This is a full-time position and you must be able to work in our hybrid office model, joining the team in the Paoli, PA, or Alexandria, VA, office 1-2 days per week. COVID-19 vaccine is required.

The salary range is $125,000 to $135,000 depending on the experience you have.  On top of the competitive salary that we are offering, you will receive 12 paid holidays and 25 paid days off. We provide an excellent benefits plan including parental leave, medical, dental, short-term and long-term disability, and a 401K program.
