Luis Guardia joined Global Impact in 2017 and serves as the Chief Business and Financial Services Officer. With 25 years of experience in nonprofit management, Guardia brings significant expertise to the organization, where he leads internal financial administration, external financial services and asset management programs.
Prior to joining Global Impact, Guardia held a variety of management roles in the arts, broadcasting, international development and health care, including positions with the International Center for Research on Women, Corporation for Public Broadcasting and NPR. Most recently, Guardia served as the Chief Operating Officer for The ONE Campaign.
Guardia has also served on the boards of ActionAid, Society for International Development, Mary’s Center, Ayuda and the PBS Technology Committee. He received his Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School at UCLA, Master of Science from George Washington University and bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. Guardia lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and children.
